Our Story

Two women, Rhyannon and Kayla from Wild Graze, with white shirts stand in front of a large wooden door.

Welcome to Wild Graze, a brand supporting small batch producers, created by locals.

Wild Graze was born out of a love of local markets, trying new products and supporting small businesses.

We aim to redefine your concept of a hamper, from generic and boring products, to an exciting opportunity to gift unique, artisan products that may not have been tried before.

Our Wild Graze hampers are carefully curated with handmade, artisan products sourced from the South East QLD, Scenic Rim and Northern NSW regions. We only select premium products from producers who have like-minded values to our own. All products have been personally tasted or tried to verify their exceptional quality.

These aren’t just hampers that your mum, dad, partner, sister, brother, nana, grandad, best friend or colleague will love, they are more than that. When you choose to support our local business, you are actively keeping the region full of distinctive products and that is a beautiful thing for our wider community.

Who Are We?

We are Rhyannon and Kayla, two sisters-in-law who love nothing more than a glass of wine (or a gin and tonic) paired with a great local cheese up on Rhy's deck at Tamborine Mountain. Between us we have eaten our way around 37 countries and tried countless weird and wonderful foods, but at the end of the day we both agree that we are truly lucky to live in this gorgeous little pocket of the world.

We decided to start Wild Graze out of a shared love of trying beautiful local foods, shopping at markets and supporting small businesses. Chatting to producers and hearing the stories of how their business came about, and sharing in their excitement for the future has been an absolute delight in our Wild Graze journey so far.

Kayla is a qualified chef whose career extended to restaurants in Australia, the United Kingdom and France. She even catered for athletes at the 2012 London Olympics.
“Eating unique and local foods has always been one of my absolute favourite things to do. The top of my to do list in every country I visit is always to find the markets. I feel strongly about reducing food miles and eating seasonally.”

After returning to Australia, Kayla completed a marketing degree, set up multiple businesses of her own and is a mum of one little boy. She is currently building a campervan with plans to explore more of our beautiful region.

Rhyannon comes from a business background. Her experience includes working with an organic dairy producer and most recently building a successful pizza oven manufacturing company supplying products internationally. “I am passionate about locally produced products, food or otherwise, it is so important for our community. My grandparents had a small station in central Queensland, I was raised to appreciate how food is produced and understand where it comes from. I believe connecting with our food and those who produce it is something fundamental within us. Now I have an opportunity to extend this connection for others with Wild Graze.”

We would be thrilled to hear from you and are always on the lookout for small batch producers from the Southern Queensland and Northern New South Wales areas. If you have a brand that you love, please let us know about them.

At a time when keeping small businesses alive is more important than ever, we invite you to choose local, and stay wild.

Stay Wild, Rhyannon & Kayla
